As a final project to my first photography class, I created a book containing images taken while I was driving. Along with the physical book, I registered my domain name and created my first website, which contained a virtual copy of my book. While this was not necessary, I felt it was only natural to do so. Since the inception of photography, photographs were physical pieces of paper, and thus the book has been a natural format in which to display images. In my first photography class, I did not use film. I shot digitally (and still do). In our twenty-first century society, the obvious forum in which to display my digital images was the world wide web. So, I created a traditional book with my printed images along with a more contemporary, and in my opinion more appropriate, virtual book with my digital images.
